Space science creates amazing art and now artists are creating space science in support of our shared differences, similarities and hopes for helping improve the quality of life off and on our home planet.

Expanding the arts, humanities and culture within the context of space exploration

ZGAC Zero Gravity Arts Consortium Programs

ZGAC Zero Gravity Arts Consortium Programs

ZGAC supports arts, humanities and culture in space education, international outreach and conference programs that are organized as ways for artists, from all over the globe, to affiliate with ZGAC and experience the possibilities of collaborating with space flight technologists and engineers.

ZGAC Fosters greater access for artists to space flight technology and zero gravity space through creating partnerships with artists, artronauts, space scientists and engineers, space agencies, space industry entrepreneurs, international arts and science organizations and leading universities.

ZGAC works to influencing turning STEM education to STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Music and Mathematics).   The reason for this that one of ZGAC’s Co-Founder, Frank Pietronigro believes that economic justice is reinforced for artist, musicians, theatre workers and all those associated with the arts by placing the value on their labor on par with the value of science, engineering, and mathematics. Creating harmony and value in our cultures on both the arts and the sciences is key to a healthy species moving off planet. Frank says, “Culture and art are in space already and our space science colleagues are produce amazing art (Hubble Imagery!), data patterns from black holes, and the joyful space of weightlessness.”
